Canterbury
Branch organises regular day trips
which are often subsidised to keep ticket prices low.
Branch
trips are open to members of all branches of Kent Family History
Society and their families. Friends are also welcome to join us if
there are spaces.
Recently
we
have visited The National Archives and the Royal Botanic Gardens at
Kew; and the WW1 Battlefields in Flanders.
Our

Tickets
are sold at Branch Meetings but may also be purchased by
post with payment by cheque. There is no booking fee but if you would
like a ticket sent to you please include an SAE with your payment.
Alternatively we will let you know when payment is received if you
include an e-mail address with your application.
Trips
must be booked and paid for in advance.
Readers Tickets
- CARN
[County Archives Research Network] tickets are not acceptable at TNA.
However, unless you want to see an original document TNA do not
require you to have a readers tickets to access films and fiche.

the documents you require needs you to have a TNA readers ticket
and to find out how to apply for a TNA readers ticket please visit the

We arrive at
TNA about 11am in time for the 'New To Kew' talk. Returning
from Kew about 4.45pm. This will be confirmed when we leave the
coach in the morning. Depending on traffic we aim to return to
Canterbury by 7pm.
Park & Rides
After the
Canterbury Park & Rides close for the day cars can leave the car
park using their parking permit at the barrier.
